Herbal Bath Tea Soak

Ingredients: Rose, Rosehip, Passionflower, Elderflower, Oats, Epsom Salts

Rose: A real mood-boosting scent, rose can help lower anxiety and can even help with depression. The oils present in rose petals are a natural toner for the skin and could help fight acne and hydrate with its natural anti-inflammatory properties, giving you glowing skin to be proud of.

Rosehip: These little berries contain pinene and limonene which can calm irritated skin and reduce any redness. A great antibacterial and astringent, keeping pores unclogged and reduced to stop any additional dirt from entering. It could also balance the level of sebum produced which would also lower the risk of outbreaks of spots and acne.

Passionflower: Passionflower is a wonderful mood enhancer and can combat several issues we all have from time to time. Insomnia, anxiety, racing thoughts and stress can all be reduced by this vibrant flower.

Elderflower: Infused with free radicals’ elderflower could help with your overall skin health, keeping skin glowing and radiant. Calming irritation and helping detoxify your skin, taking away any impurities. It could also help your blood circulation.

Oats: Oats will quench dry skin with their moisturising properties and leave your skin feeling soothed, supple and hydrated. Oat baths have been used for many skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. Adding oats to a bath has been used widely with the chicken pox virus alleviating itching and soothing the sore spots this virus causes. Who knew porridge wasn’t just for breakfast!

Epsom salts: Epsom salts, obtained by evaporating water from lakes that are rich in magnesium sulphate, are renowned for helping muscle cramping and soreness, especially after strenuous exercise. A 20-minute soak in a salt bath can help the muscles recover quicker from the strain our bodies are put through daily, alleviating migraines and tension headaches. They have also been used to relieve soreness and promote healing after childbirth. Salt baths could help with circulation, preventing hardening of the arteries and supporting magnesium levels. A naturally occurring product that isn’t man-made in any way, giving us so many health benefits just from a little evening soak.

Scent: Tiptoe through the garden of sweet serenity, blooms and florals blow in a warm gentle breeze floating through your mind as you take a deep breath of pure bliss and calm.

Soak steps:

Using the scoop provided, fill 3 to 4 scoops of floral tranquillity into the reusable tea bag and close. Drop into an empty tub and run your bath. Keep the herbal bath tea immersed in the water as you lay back and relax. A recommended 20-minute soaking time is advisable.

The tea bag is reusable so empty, rinse and dry for your next soothing escape of floral tranquillity.
